Lou Ferrigno Incredible Hulk, an ex-football player and bodybuilder, was a perfect choice for the part. Standing 6 ft 5 inches tall and weighing over 300 pounds, Lou Ferrigno the Incredible Hulk, successfully won various body building competitions including Mr. America, Mr. Universe and Mr. International. Ferrigno also collaborated with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the body-building film, Pumping Iron.

Lou Ferrigno played the part of the Incredible Hulk in The Incredible Hulk TV series. The Lou Ferrigno Incredible Hulk character was a 7-foot tall, green monster filled with rage. With enormous strength, the Incredible Hulk is a result of an accident as Dr. David Banner is exposed to dangerous gamma rays and changed forever.
