More About The Hulk
In 1962, Marvel Comics started a new comic book series called "The Incredible Hulk". Written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Jack Kirby, the Hulk follows the life a nuclear scientist who transforms into a powerful, but primal creature when upset after becoming exposed to gamma radiation. The Hulk made it's first appearance on television in the 1960's in the show, Marvel Super-Heroes.

Later in the 1970's, the Hulk moved to prime time television with producer Kenneth Johnson. Johnson then sought to make the Hulk appealing to prime time adult watchers. With Stan Lee's approval, Kenneth reworked the storyline for the Incredible Hulk. The first episode of the Hulk, titled "The Incredible Hulk" aired on November 7, 1977 as a 2 hour pilot. The Hulk television series aired for five seasons and had a total of 82 episodes. Now you see all your favorite Hulk episodes on DVD.
